Fitzherbert Rebus Club

Fitzherbert Rebus Club welcomes retired and semi-retired people of all ages and from all walks of life, who are interested in coming together socially for friendship, fun, talks, guest speakers and leisure activities.

Founded in August 1997, the Club celebrates its 25th Anniversary in 2022. The Club has about 60 members and is affiliated to Rebus NZ Inc.

We meet together monthly, with other regular activities and outings scheduled, which members participate in according to their interests.

Our meeting format usually involves announcements, a cameo speaker, morning tea and a guest speaker.

Current Interest Group Activities (Covid-permitting) include: Coffee & Chat, Dining Out, Brunch, Cards, Ladies Group, Pétanque, Movie/ Theatre, Outings, Garden Visits

How to Join

Prospective members and visitors are welcome to attend our meetings. Please contact the Secretary prior to coming along so that we can introduce you and arrange a Club host, if you aren’t attending with a current Club member.

The Secretary has application forms for joining the Club. Applications are approved at the next Committee Meeting, after which you will be contacted with the date of your formal welcome and badge presentation.

Membership Fees

$28 per year, which includes the Club newsletter (published monthly from February to November) and the Rebus NZ newsletter.

When and where we meet

• 2nd Wednesday of the month, February to November
• Sign in at 9.45am for a 10am start, with meetings concluding around 11.45am
• Palmerston North Golf Course Club Room, Brightwater Terrace, Palmerston North
