No 10 (City of Palmerston North) Squadron - Air Training Corps
Air Cadets is a non-profit youth development organisation for 13 to 19 year olds that first started in 1864 and in its present form in a partnership with the NZ Defence force since 1971.
Any person between the ages of 13 and 15 years, or 12 years old but in year 9 at secondary school can join. Air Cadets is open to everyone and is not part of the NZ Defence Force so there is no requirement to join the forces when you leave.
Cadets offers a military style leadership, personal development, team work and adventure based hands-on training programme through exciting and engaging activities such as aviation and flying experiences, bush craft, drill, camps, life skills, skills competitions, community service and lots more all while making lifelong friendships and having fun.
How To Join
Joining age is 13-15 years old (or 12 years old and in year 9 at secondary school).
Send us an email to arrange a time to visit a Parade night.
Membership Fees
your first term is free, 2nd term half price fees then after that Fees are $75 per Term.
Some activities may have additional costs.

We Parade on Wednesday nights 6:15 pm - 9:00 pm (During School Term time) at the
Linton Community Centre Puttick Rd, Linton
