The Comedy Hub

The Comedy Hub has been producing stand-up shows, comedy workshops and introductory courses since 2017, with the goal of making the Manawatū a great place to be a comedian.

We do a variety of shows, including:
*Open Mics
*Local Showcases
*Pro Shows (National/International acts)
*Community Shows (e.g. Māori/Pasifika showcase, Stand Up for Sign Language)
*Fundraising events
*Festivals

Membership Fees

$35 per year (October to September)

When and where we meet

We hold open mic nights every second Thursday, 7.30pm-9.30pm. We also hold semi-regular workshops on the techniques and craft of stand-up comedy, including four-week Introduction to Stand-Up courses.
