Join us for our live performances each month in the Evelyn Rawlins Room at Square Edge. Enjoy the sounds of many eras and styles performed by local pianists, instrumentalists, singers, soloists and ensembles. All are welcome.
In addition, Musica Viva offers a Young Performers’ Scholarship competition for local musicians under 30 years. Prizes are offered in Piano, Instrumental and Vocal categories. Participants perform an item in our April–September concerts, with the competition taking place in October. Applications to participate in the YPS programme closed on March 15 2024.

Membership Fees
Subscribe for the year: Single $30; Double $50; or, at each concert, entry for visitors is by koha (Recommended $5+). School students are free. Subscription and door charges contribute towards the cost of running our Society - we make no payments to officers or members.
When and where we meet
Our live performances are held on a Monday night once a month in the Evelyn Rawlins Room at Square Edge. Each concert starts at 7.30pm. Our 2024 concert programme can be found on our website - musicaviva.org.nz - on our Facebook page or by sending an email. There are also flyer cards in the library on the promotions wall. Come and enjoy some local live music – we’d love to see you.
